A reproduction of Dolby Digital 5.1 from traditional 2 channel sources such as TV

MDMI (High Definition Media Interface)
Digital connection capable of carrying digital sound and picture between two sources such as DVD player and Plasma TV.

LCD (Liquid Crystal Display)
Technology that uses liquid crystal movement to improve brightness, colour and contrast and allows for a slim design that can be wall mounted if desired.
