It provides a digital connection between the DVD player and receiver for DVD-Audio, SACD and other high quality audio sources. - Six-Channel analog outputs are used for reading multichannel HD-DVD, DVD-Audio, Blu-ray and SACD discs if there is a built in decoder for these formats in the player. This analog outputs connect to relevant analog inputs on a receiver.
